Exactly 1 year that I relocated to the United States, I saved up so much in my bank that I woke up one morning and I said, yinka, I think you now have enough money to buy a house in lekki (Jokingly with myself😀) I went on Instagram and I started following realtors in Lagos Nigeria. I kept on going from one realtor page to another to see if I will see something I like and within my budget. I was in the market for over 1 month🥹 luckily for me 1 day I was scrolling on instagram as usual, hunting for a house in lekki🤣 I saw this beautiful DUPLEX on my feed and I quickly went to the realtor’s page to see the house very well, I dm her immediately, she said I can come for inspection, in my mind, I said hmmm (Me wey no dey Niger) I told her I will send my brother to come see it because I’m out of town, my brother went and confirmed is a good house that I should buy it, I contacted my lawyer to start a check on the house if is a good house to buy, My lawyer and a surveyor went to the house to also see it, the surveyor did his job and my lawyer also start his check in Alausa Ikeja just to be sure the house is a good house to buy. After like a week, my lawyer called me that we should go ahead and pay that the house is a good house. Joy overflows in my heart, I started making arrangement on how I will wire money to Nigeria. I remembered how my bank customer care person was on the phone with me for like 15 minutes asking me if I really want to send such big money to Nigeria😂 See next post for👉CONT
