Actor Odunlade Adekola’s brother, well-known Yoruba movie star and preacher Oyekanmi Adekola, has shared what he would do if his wife chose to pursue a career in acting. He also said what he would do if she were cast in a film and had the opportunity to kiss other actors.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Mtec TV during an interview, he made it known that even though he is a pastor, that would not stop him from supporting his wife if she decides to become an actress and that he would give her the permission to kiss other actors if she is given a movie role to do so.
In his statement, he said, “If my wife decides to become an actress I will welcome her and we will do it together. I’m a pastor but I will support my wife to be an actress, and I will permit her to kiss actors. Our film making job has level, people may notice that I always act as pastor in most of the movies that I featured in and that’s because that they know I’m a pastor in real life and it will be easy for me to play the pastor’s role conveniently. My wife and I have almost the same lifestyle, and because of her lifestyle I believe that actors wouldn’t want to give her movie roles that will go against her character.”
