Nollywood actress and award-winning director, Funke Akindele shared the sweet Mother’s Day letter she got from her twin boys.
In a video that was shared on her Snapchat channel, Funke’s boys celebrate Mother’s Day by giving mom two separate cards. The twins declared Funke the greatest mother in the world, while the other twin confirmed his love for her and described her as helpful, kind, and attractive.
“Happy Mother’s Day! I love you
You are kind
You are beautiful
You are helpful
Love from Zach”.
The second twin wrote, “Dear mummy, you are the best mummy in the world”.

Funke responded to a fan who requested that she give her twins a new sibling a few weeks ago. Funke said that in order for him to watch the new baby, she had registered his name and would locate his address. Funke and JJC Skillz, her ex-husband, are parents to her twins.
According to Gossipinfo, in 2022, JJC startled everyone by announcing the dissolution of his seven-year marriage to the actress. He acknowledged that the marriage had been troubled and disclosed that the actress had requested him to leave her home and had refused to communicate with him in a friendly manner.
Speaking on their separation, Funke in an interview revealed that their vision and dreams of what their marriage should look like no longer aligned, and all efforts to make it work fell on de@f ears, hence, their decision to split.
Akindele was also married to Adeola Kehinde Oloyede in 2013, but they divorced in May 2016, citing irreconcilable differences.
Speaking on it, Funke hinted at being pressured into marriage as she admonished young women against rushing into marriage because of pressure. She noted how her first marriage ended in a very bad way, and it was all over social media, which led her to lose several endorsement deals and broke her down.
