The Super Eagles players and coaching staff departed Kigali, Rwanda, on Saturday morning, heading back to Nigeria. They are scheduled to arrive in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, where they will face Zimbabwe on Tuesday evening, with their flight expected to land around 4 p.m. local time.
The three-time African champions rekindled their 2026 World Cup qualifying hopes with a 2-0 victory over the Amavubi on Friday. Victor Osimhen netted a first-half brace, securing a win in Eric Chelle’s debut match as head coach.
With this result, the Super Eagles move up to fourth place in Group C of the CAF qualifying series.
