The recent breakup surrounding Nollywood actor Baba Tee and the wife of content producer Ijoba Lande, Dara, has been further clarified by well-known socialite Mary Gold.
This follows the breakdown of Ijoba Lande’s marriage, in which he accused Baba Tee and other top colleagues of having an affair with his wife.
Addressing the allegations, Mary Gold admitted to introducing Dara to Baba Tee but clarified that she never mentioned that Dara was a married woman.
Speaking in a live TikTok session, she disclosed that during their visit to Baba Tee’s house, Dara initiated a Truth or Dare game and dared the actor to make it romantic.

“In fairness to him, I didn’t tell him I was coming with a friend. When we got there, both of them started playing Truth or Dare, and it was Dara who told Baba Tee, ‘I dare you to have sex with me.’ She kept urging him to make the game romantic,” Mary Gold revealed.
She further stated that Baba Tee had no knowledge that Dara was Lande’s wife because she had previously warned her not to introduce her as such in public.
“I won’t lie, it was Dara who seduced him. I was in the kitchen listening to music when I fell asleep, leaving the two of them in the living room. I accept that I made a mistake by taking her to Baba Tee’s house without informing Lande, but I never planned for them to have sex. Right now, Baba Tee has blocked me. People should stop blaming me,” she added.
The controversy continues to generate mixed reactions, with many now questioning Dara’s role in the unfolding drama.
