Well-known Yoruba actress Bimpe Akintunde disclosed some of the things that transpired between her and her baby daddy During her trip to Dubai to visit him.
She also disclosed that she did everything in her power to terminate the pregnancy.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Debbie Show TV during an interview, she disclosed that she went to Dubai to meet a man, and they had an affair together, but she tried everything she could to abort the pregnancy by taking different drugs.
In her statement, she said, “I hardly had relationships with men because I was not a lucky one when it comes to relationships. Sometimes I don’t go into a relationship for 2 years, all I do is focus on my job and try to enjoy my life. It got to a point that I was hoping to be in a relationship with a man, and I wanted to get pregnant too.

I wasn’t in any relationship when I met the man who impregnated me, we met each other when he came to Nigeria. I went to meet a man in Dubai, we had s€x, and I got pregnant, but I took drugs to abort it. I went to a woman in my area, and she sold me the drugs to abort the pregnancy, but despite all my efforts, nothing happened to the pregnancy, and I gave birth to the baby. I tried to abort the pregnancy because I just met the man, and I wasn’t sure about the relationship yet, and I like to define my relationships with men.”
There was no mother to help me because I am an orphan, and I also had no mother-in-law to assist me. So, I had to stop breastfeeding my child at nine months because I had to start going to movie sets. I wanted to go for a movie shoot in Oshogbo but couldn’t carry her along with me, as I needed to make ends meet. As a result, I even sold my car when I was about to give birth to her, hoping to get a new one after everything had settled. So, whenever I had to go to a movie set within Ikorodu, I would lock her at home and go, then return later. But if the location was far, I would usually leave her with one Alhaja, who was a very caring and supportive person.”
