Nollywood actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji, is definitely off to a great start this year after creating his double win on the well-known streaming service Netflix.
After promoting his upcoming film, the Lisabi sequel, the filmmaker finally published the eagerly awaited film on Netflix yesterday, and within twenty-four hours, it has become the streaming service’s top film. In addition, The Uprising by Lisabi, which he released the previous year, comes in at number three.
Crediting the double blessings to his Maker, he expressed gratitude to his fans, supporters, and lovers for making it happen. He urged them to keep the energy in streaming Lisabi 1 & 2.

Given that two weeks ago, Lateef had expressed joy at the new film’s ranking on the list of 2024’s most searched Nigerian films, it is not surprising to find Lisabi 2 at the top of the Netflix list.
In a similar post, Mo Bimpe, his wife, was thrilled to see Lisabi in the top 10 most searched-for films in 2024. Data don’t lie, Bimpe said, adding that she was happy to be mentioned while discussing filmmaking in 2024.
