Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has compared his team to a “hammer,” ready to strike as they chase Liverpool in the Premier League title race.

While acknowledging Liverpool’s strong form under Arne Slot, Arteta stressed that Arsenal must stay prepared to capitalize on any slip-ups from their rivals.

“We must continue to be like a hammer, showing up every day with focus and determination,” Arteta said. “If someone wins every match, we’ll congratulate them and prepare for the next season. But history shows that rarely happens, and if they falter, we will be ready.”
Arteta added, “It doesn’t depend on us, but our focus must remain on Brentford and what we need to do. We have a busy schedule ahead with many games and competitions, so we must stay at our best.”
